A slight surprise
Its been 6 months since I was last in School and I haven’t seen my friends in ages. I requested special permission from my nurse and doctor if I could go see my friends at school for a couple of hours and they gave me the green light. I woke up early so that my IV medication could finish in time for me to reach school by lunch. I finished my IV meds and rushed straight home to take a shower. I eventually reached school at 12:30 and didn’t tell anyone but the teachers that I would be there. In school we have something called a “non-contact study period” this is when we don’t have to attend class but we’re given free time to catch up on our own work and maybe get ahead of some classes. Since were all teenagers, when were given some free time to “study”, we all know that either means procrastinate or socialise. I walked into school and thankfully a lot of my friends had a Non-contact study period. They were all extremely surprised to see me at school and even some of the teachers came to see me :) Overall it was a great day and it was amazing to see everyone again.
Everyone at school has been so supportive about my situation and most people are aware of whats been happening and its really nice to see how many people actually care. I don’t even know some of the people who have messages me but its really cool to know that they would still message. Keep up the positive vibes guys!
